What is the difference?
Files
- PNG
- An image like JPG, but sharper and without compression artefacts. Fixed pixel size – for web, office and photo prints.
- SVG
- Vector graphic: any size without loss of quality. Texts and lines stay editable in a graphics program.
- Print PDF
- For the print shop: CMYK colours (FOGRA39), 3 mm bleed with crop marks, embedded fonts, vectors stay vectors.
Use
- Private
- For your own non-commercial purposes.
- Commercial
- For your company’s advertising, websites and publications.
- In addition, for print runs in catalogues, brochures and similar printed matter.
Always included
- Each tier includes the ones before it.
- Paid files carry no “maps.express” note. The © OpenStreetMap credit stays.
- One purchase covers one map, and you export it as often as you like.
